The Rotary Club of Bournemouth
Dorset, England
Rotary International is a global network of service volunteers. It is the world’s largest service organisation for business and professional people, with over 1,200,000 members operating in 200 countries world-wide.
The Rotary Club of Bournemouth was formed over 100 years ago – the first Rotary Club in the Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole area – and is now a thriving club with around 50 male and female members.
Our meetings are usually held at lunch time on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month (excluding Bank Holidays) from 1.00pm to 2.15pm at the Hotel Collingwood (11 Priory Road), Bournemouth BH2 5DF). On the 5th week of the month, we often have a ‘scatter week’, please check with our Secretary. Some meetings are held on alternate Wednesday evenings, often at the Hotel Collingwood, such as the Social Committee, and others including Club Council, Community Service, Youth Service, Foundation and International Committee.
We welcome visitors and Rotarians from other Clubs, but please let our Secretary know a few days in advance that you are coming (and to check the day, time and location of the meeting).
